Tour de Yorkshire fever.

Elmsall RC members were out in force last week watching the Tour of Yorkshire at various places over the 4 days. Sunday was the Tour de Yorkshire sportive over a tough 75 miles route which included 7800 ft of climbing, Jane Wilson, Adam Mills, Steve Burton and Geoff Davis completed the ride. John Martin 59:33 and Steve Scott 1:02:33 rode the Yorkshire Cycling Federation 25 miles tt on Sunday morning on the A168 near Thirsk. Karl Caton finished 7th and Alan Crooks 15th in the 42 miles road race at Macclesfield on Sunday. Around 12 riders have enjoyed cycling holidays in Spain and Majorca over the past month getting around 350 miles riding per week.
