Four racing lads were out this weekend with John Martin recording 22:14 in the Springfield Financial 10 miles tt in Lancashire on Saturday evening. Karl Caton had a top 15 finish in a very fast time of 53:48 with Steve Scott doing 58:27 in the Stockton Wheelers 25 tt up at Crathorne, North Yorkshire on Sunday morning. Alan Crooks finished around 14th position in the veterans national road race at Newark which ended in a bunch sprint. Two groups of club riders visited the new Oil Can cafe at Holmfirth on Saturday covering over 5000 ft of climbing, Steve Worthy led the intermediate group with Andy Jones taking the faster group. Around 26 riders in total with riders from surrounding clubs also enjoying the ride. Martyn Clift did a very impressive coast to coast ride with over 155 miles ridden in just over 10 hours, this ride alone had over 12000 ft of climbing. starting on Thursday 28th, they are visiting 11 different cities in 11 days finishing at Upton Arms on Sunday 8th July.
