A large turnout on Saturday of 22 riders had 2 groups going to Knaresborough for breakfast, covering 83 miles led by Geoff Davis and Tom Tweedie. The first group went via Aberford and Wetherby and came back via Tadcaster and Ulleskelf. The intermediate group of 13 riders led by Pete Stirk and Alan Crookes took a different route via Birkin and Wetherby. John Martin rode his fastest 25 miles tt for 3 years on a course between Newmarket and Cambridge in an ECCA event recording 54:54, while Steve Scott rode a 10 mile tt near St Neots in the Icknield CC event and recorded 23:13 on Saturday. Sunday saw John Martin record 57:19 on a course near Newmarket in cold and windy conditions. Luke Riley, a junior rider, rode a 2 up 10 mile tt on a course near Howden run by the City RC Hull and with his partner Rob Cooke of nearby Rockingham CC recorded 22:23 to finish 11th overall. Saturday rides meet at the Barnsley Oak crossroads at 9am. Annual pie and pea supper/ presentation night is Saturday 30th November at the Upton Arms.
