Elmsall RC members rise to the challenge.

Pete Owen and Steve Worthy covered over 900 miles in 11 days in aid of Parkinson’s UK. They visited 9 English cities and were joined on the ride by Paul Lovely of Elmsall RC and outside members also covered a fair bit of the ride.
Karl Caton with 22:33 finished in 9th position in the Sportslab 10 mile tt on Wednesday at Howden, Steve Scott recorded 24:44. Saturday saw Karl Caton record 21:21 in the Sherwood CC 10 miles tt at Long Bennington with Peter Stirk doing the course in 26:45 minutes. The club covered around 60 miles on Saturday visiting Sandtoft aerodrome for refreshments, led by Dez Ellis and John Hanson with Stuart Burrows back marker. The club welcomes old and new members on club rides which meet at Barnsley Oak crossroads 9am on the weekend.
