Awards Night!

Last Saturday the Elmsall RC held their 5th prize presentation with a pie and pea supper at the Upton Arms. A long time club member Barry Dawson travelled down from Ayrshire for the evening.
With 34 attendees they saw the prize winners collect their trophies, Richard Watson was awarded the hill climb trophy to keep for winning it a record 8 times in his younger days.
Thomas Tweedie was awarded the most improved rider trophy and medal,
Jane Wilson and Des Ellis also won medals for the most miles recorded this year for lady and male members.
Adele Lawton organised a ride to Humber Bridge and back covering 108 miles in aid of Breast Cancer UK and by raising over £2500 this worthy cause awarded her the Service/ Merit cup and medal.
Prizes were presented to the winners by the club President, Peter Stirk

Club rides meet at Barnsley Oak crossroads at 9am on a Saturday.
